Everlasting love for all who knew me. PJ loves you.

I suppose at a time such as this, one might expect to read of my birth, my childhood, a brief account of my youth, a listing of dates and names of close relations and friends. I was, however, different and so shall this last account be. Dates and names scrolled across a sheet of paper do little to capture my life and even less for a woman like me. An attempt to give a summary to my life is futile, my laughter in my mannerisms escape description and the dates though important in my life lessened significantly on December 26, 2024at 10:20 PM. Then there was only one relationship that mattered and one that warrants mentioning, that name was Lord Jesus and my relationship was with him. I love the Lord and served him with gladness, joy and love. I had the faith and commitment which I shared with others until my final conscious moments just a few days ago, I met my Redeemer for the first time and my greeting took the form of a question. It is one that should be shared by all who mourns for me today it is a final question that is left to be answered and if one cannot answer “Yes Lord” then the morning should not be for me, but for yourself. While most obituaries end by saying one leaves a host of relatives and friends mine ends with an urgent inquiry. Do you know my Lord Jesus as your savior?

Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and our momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen for what is seen is temporary, but what unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
