Kerai Younger was born April 4th, 2001 (along with his twin sister, Khadijah) to his mother, Rhonda Sanford, and Father Chahine Younger Sr. Kerai departed this life on January 14th, 2026, at the age of 24 years old
Kerai was very popular and had an awesome personality. Very intuitive, kind, funny, and loved making his friends and family laugh, and was the ultimate storyteller. Kerai attended John Harvard Elementary from 2006 to 2015, where he was a great student who excelled in numerous athletics, including Football, basketball, baseball, track, and cheerleading, which helped his team bring home the state championship trophy, along with numerous other trophies and medals in all categories. He was also a member of The Hamilton Park Allstars, where he brought home a Championship trophy for track and field. In addition to sports, Kerai was also a talented singer and a dedicated member of the Harvard School choir, where he and his sister performed a memorable duet for their 8th-grade graduation.
Kerai started his high school journey at Wendell Phillips, where he was a member of the freshman football team. He graduated with honors from Excell Academy of Englewood in 2019. He received training through the dynamic CRED mentoring program, which helped elevate his entrepreneurial

He was in his second semester at South University- Savannah online. He aspired to be a veterinary technician as he absolutely adored all animals. He was a valued employee at Foster Kennels, where he worked from 2021 until the present, and was the sole proprietor of Krazy Kennels, which was established in 2022.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Henry King and brother Chahine

Kerai leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents, Rhonda Sanford and Chahine Younger Sr. (Lashawn); grandparents Robert Sanford Sr. and Jerelene King, and Cornell Younger (Halema); 11 sisters, Sawyia, Sacouya (Dior), Ayanna, Sierrha, Jakyra, Khadijah(twin), Nakaiya, Miranda, McKayla,Madison, McKenzie; 6 brothers, Derek, Dearle, Chahine Jr., who preceded him in death, Sahran, Shamir, and Chris. He had 2 favorite uncles, Robert, affectionately called uncle Relly, who preceded him in death & Ryan(Kimyatta), a favorite nephew, Sahrye, whom he provided for & a host o uncles, aunts, cousins, and numerous friends
