Ms. June Ellen Daniel Was born January 13, 1943 in Forest City,Arkansas to the union of Iola Tucker and Frank Cunningham who both preceded her in death
June is the oldest of seven. She attended Evans Public School and Lincoln High School in Forrest City Arkansas. IN 1964, June joined hands in holy matrimony Frank Lee Daniel into this Union Four beautiful children were born.
June moved to Chicago Illinois in 1967, where she worked at Evan's potato chips, later she worked at Cracker Jack for 15 years. After leaving Cracker Jack she was a home care worker for 5 years. June was a devoted member at Sweet Holy Spirit Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Larry D Trotter. In 2003, she moved to Freeport, Illinois to take care of her daughter and her grandchildren. She loves to listen to her music especially her gospel songs and her dusties..
On March 14,2025, June was called home to be with her lord and savior.
June precedes in death with her parents Iola Tucker and Frank Cunningham her sister Hazel Brothers her brother James Edwards and her beautiful daughter Janice Renee Daniel. She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters Ann Tucker(St. Louis), Nyokia Robinson(St. Louis), Johnny Mae Bradley(St. Louis); her two brothers Melton Tucker (St. Louis) amd Frank Cunningham (Memphis); her children Frankie Mae Daniel (Gary), Edna M Bowens (Christopher Bowens), Joyce Ann Daniel (Chicago); 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom loved her dearly.
Although June is no longer with us physically, her spirit lives on in those she loved and those who loved her.She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will never be forgotten.
