Jeffrey Mack, of Elkhart, Indiana, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on March 15, 2025. Born on May 22, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to Charlie and Minnie Mack, Jeffrey lived a life marked by faith, love, and unwavering devotion to his family.
In 1985, Jeffrey met the love of his life, Felita, and together they built a beautiful life, moving from Illinois to Indiana, where they have resided for the past 27 years. His faith journey was an essential part of his life, and in 2004, he accepted Christ and was baptized at River of Life Church. In 2024, he was ordained as a Deacon at Agape Church, a testament to his deep commitment to serving God and his community.
Jeffrey was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending seven years at Track Star, sixteen years at Aacoa, and most recently, three years at Barletta Boats until his passing.
Above all, Jeffrey was a family man. He cherished his role as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his family first. He shared a special bond with his grandchildren, delighting in taking them on outings after church. He was a devoted husband who adored spending quality time with his wife and a proud father who never missed an opportunity to support his sons, especially in their musical pursuits. Whether it was playing basketball with his nephews, enjoying family gatherings, or setting trends with his impeccable fashion sense, Jeffrey embraced life with warmth and style.
Jeffrey’s presence was a source of strength and love for all who knew him. He was protective, kind hearted, and always ready to offer a helping hand. His legacy of faith, love, and dedication to family will forever be cherished.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Minnie Mack; his sisters, Stella, Maryann, Betty, Lena Daniels, and Wilma Mack; his sisters,Sharon and Sheryan Mack; his brothers, Clarence and Jimmy Mack; and his brothers, Dalton and Kenny Mack.
Jeffrey leaves behind his devoted wife, Felita Mack; their three children, Jeffrey Mack (Crystal), Jeshay Mack (Zacc), and Clarence Mack (Chelsey); and eleven beloved grandchildren: Jamarious, Jeffrey III, Journee, Jyel, JaMiyah, Jamarion, Jyon, Jayla, Jalayah, and Jaleyah Mack, as well as a step-grandson, Jaeden Patrick. He is also survived by his brothers, Edward and Charles Mack; his sisters, Mamie( David ) Martha, and Henrietta Mack; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Jeffrey’s life was a testament to faith, love, and family, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know him.
