Obituary for Fransealon Donaldson
Fransealon Donaldson, lovingly known to many as Tony, was born on July 27, 1965, at Presbyterian–St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born to Joyce Dickens, who preceded her in death in June 2017.
Tony grew up in the Rockwell Gardens housing community, where she formed lifelong bonds and memories. She attended Grant Grammar School, Dodge Elementary School, and Joan Arai School. From an early age, Tony developed a deep love for music—especially old-school jams—which brought her joy and comfort throughout her life. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Tony was a believer in Christ and lived with love for her family at the center of her heart. She was known for her warmth, her spirit, and the love she freely gave to those around her.
She leaves to cherish her memory five siblings: Denear, Robert Jr., Marie June, and Leroy; a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, and uncles; five children: Demeiatriss, Eric, Dominique, Damian, and Giovanni; twenty-four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Fransealon Donaldson was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew her.
“We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:8
