Claudette Stewart Obituary

Claudette Stewart was born on July 30, 1939, in Belton, South Carolina, to the late Maceo and Pearl Earle. A dedicated and compassionate caregiver, Claudette worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Albany Care Nursing Home for 46 years.

She was first united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Bob Applewhite. From this union, three children were born: the late Willie Bob Jr., Claudia, and James. Later in life, Claudette found love again and married the late Claude Stewart. Together, they had two children: Clyde (who preceded her in death) and Darnita.

Claudette was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sons Willie Bob Jr. and Clyde, and her brother Maceo Jr (who preceded her in death). She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children—Claudia, James, and Darnita; her stepchildren-Marvin and Maurice; daughter in law- Debbie; her siblings—Eula Mae and Maceo Jr. (who both preceded her in death) and Barbara; sister in laws – Anita and Laura; grandchildren—Markitta, Monica, Marcia (Erin), Willie Bob III, and Michael Jr.; great-grandchildren—Quavon, Nekhya, Drew, Braylon, and Aryn; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers, and many more who were touched by her warmth, strength, and enduring love.

Claudette will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
